SEO

SEO in Magdeburg for content people can find and understand.

SEO helps your Magdeburg business describe its offers clearly and connect the right pages. Your website is online, but does it explain each service in the way customers search for it? We look closely at content and technology, starting with where the website stands today.

SEO: illustrative example, not a customer project.

What is SEO?

SEO is search engine optimisation: making relevant website content accessible and understandable for organic searches. It covers technical foundations, page structure and answers to specific user questions. Paid advertising is a separate discipline.

How does SEO work in practice?

Before creating new copy, we review existing pages and the purpose of your offer.

Which services are already explained clearly? Where is information missing, or the next step hard to find? What data is available? This review establishes priorities so SEO work addresses specific tasks rather than simply adding a longer list of search terms to the site.

Which services are included?

A keyword does not fully explain what a person wants to know.

We map relevant questions to suitable pages and use them to develop clear topics. Scope, process, cost factors and common concerns should be addressed in the right places. Each page needs its own job instead of repeating the same general paragraph under a different heading.

Why is putting a keyword in the text not enough?

Someone searching for a service usually also wants to know whether it suits their situation and what happens next.

Repeating a word does not answer those questions. The page needs clear information, useful subheadings and a route to the next relevant page or contact option.

SEO starts with the job of the page

Before working on SEO, we establish what a page needs to do. Should it explain a service, answer a question or prepare a conversation? Web design makes that job visible through structure and contact routes. Branding provides understandable language, while Social media can draw attention to individual answers. SEO organises those entry points around a topic rather than putting every possible question on the same page. This also helps decide whether additional material is needed. A new page needs a reason to exist. SEO should explain what it adds and how it connects with information already available on the website.

SEO should consider direct arrivals

People do not always arrive through the homepage. SEO needs to consider someone entering directly on a service page, where the business, offer and next step should still make sense. Social media and Google Ads can also refer to that page. Web design provides orientation when the previous journey is unknown. For SEO, we therefore review content in its wider setting. A useful answer should connect to further relevant information rather than remain isolated. SEO helps build those internal relationships without sending visitors through a large collection of unrelated links or losing sight of the reason they arrived on the page.

SEO needs a clear description of the offer

Different names for the same service can confuse people. SEO needs terms that fit what the business actually offers. Branding can establish that language. Web design distributes it across suitable pages, while Google Ads may need to explain the same service briefly. For SEO, we consider whether a term is widely understood or mainly familiar inside the business. This does not require every sentence to be identical. SEO leaves room for natural language as long as the subject stays clear. Visitors should be able to recognise what the page discusses and whether the offered service addresses the particular question that brought them there.

Who is SEO suitable for?

SEO suits businesses with a clear offer that people should be able to find through search. It can address unclear site structure, missing service pages or technical problems. Local businesses also have regional questions to consider. Before ongoing work, we establish whether suitable content and resources are available for useful improvements.

Which problems can this address?

Missing service pages, technical access problems and content without clear intent can justify a review. We distinguish website tasks from questions shaped by demand or competition. Not every visibility problem can be solved by adding another paragraph.

What does SEO cost?

SEO support starts at €299 net per month. Price alone does not define every task: the technical starting point, pages, content requirements and reporting are set out in the package or proposal. Substantial additional content or a website relaunch can be separate services.

SEO for local Magdeburg businesses

Local businesses often need to answer different questions from location-independent providers. SEO therefore considers the real service area, availability and work offered locally. Branding should not obscure those details through unclear claims. Social media and Google Ads should not promote locations where the service is unavailable. SEO uses real information instead of invented branches. We establish which details already appear on the website and which need clarification. This allows local questions to be answered without creating near-identical pages for every street or turning an ordinary service-area reference into an unsupported claim that the business has an office in another place.

SEO when service information is missing

When several services appear only in one short paragraph, their practical details may be missing. SEO can help separate the subjects sensibly. Web design needs to provide a clear place for additional pages. Branding connects their language, while Social media can later highlight a particular topic and link to its explanation. Not every item in a list needs a separate page. We first consider whether the service is sufficiently distinct and which questions belong with it. SEO needs a clear benefit for every new page compared with the existing overview, rather than another version of the same general statement.

Include SEO before a website relaunch

A relaunch can change addresses, navigation and content at the same time. SEO should therefore be part of planning early on. Web design may provide better journeys while still needing to consider existing connections. Social media and Google Ads may continue pointing to older destinations. For SEO, we review current pages and proposed changes together, recording necessary redirects or updates. SEO in this setting is a task before launch, not only an inspection afterwards. Known issues can then be addressed in advance, even though later search performance cannot be predicted solely from the fact that the website has been redesigned.

How does the SEO project proceed?

  1. Review

We establish goals, existing content and available data, then define an understandable order for the SEO tasks.

  2. Improve

We work on the agreed content and technical foundations, coordinating implementation where changes to the website are needed.

  3. Evaluate

We discuss completed actions and available results, then identify appropriate next steps for your offer.

Where do we offer SEO?

Local search needs a real connection to Magdeburg. If a service is limited to a particular area, the website should explain that area clearly. We do not invent locations or branches. The address, availability and service description must fit the business. Google Business Profile management is discussed as a separate task.

How is the price of SEO determined?

One website may mainly need a useful service page; another may first need technical problems resolved. Those tasks take different amounts of time. We describe which pages and reviews the support covers and how work is reported. Tasks outside the package are considered separately before they are commissioned.

How do scope and responsibilities affect the proposal?

A list of technical findings is not an implemented improvement. The proposal should explain whether we review, edit copy or also change the website. If another provider handles implementation, time for coordination needs to be considered.

Scope SEO around pages and tasks

Two sites with the same number of pages may require very different SEO work. One may lack useful copy; another may have technical questions or unclear responsibilities. Web design might need changes, Branding might affect terminology and Google Ads may use other destinations or data. An SEO proposal should explain that starting point and identify specific work. For SEO, we establish which pages will be reviewed and which content will actually be edited. This avoids confusing ongoing support with a fixed collection of identical adjustments. SEO becomes easier to assess when the effort follows your actual project and the commissioned outputs can be identified later.

Build SEO reports around understandable questions

A report should help you make decisions. We discuss which questions the available SEO data can answer. Do people find relevant service pages? Is important information missing before contact? Web design affects those journeys, while Social media can bring different visitors. Branding influences the terms used to describe the offer. SEO reporting should explain these connections rather than simply list figures with little meaning for the business. Available sources and review frequency belong in the proposal. The result should support further work, including where an enquiry cannot reliably be attributed to one page or a single change made during the reporting period.

Separate SEO review from production

A review identifies work but does not automatically complete it. SEO therefore distinguishes analysis, writing and technical implementation. Social media may need supporting material. Google Ads may require another destination, and Branding decisions may be needed before major changes to language. These tasks belong in SEO support only where described and commissioned. We establish responsibility and necessary feedback, making the work manageable when several people contribute to the website. A general finding then becomes a specific decision about what should change now and what belongs later, rather than an open-ended expectation that every problem discovered will be resolved within the same fee.

Which options are available for SEO?

SEO or Google Ads?

SEO addresses organic foundations and content. Google Ads involves paid delivery with a separate advertising budget. Which task should come first depends on your offer, existing site and objective; the two disciplines can complement each other.

One-off review or ongoing support?

A defined review can clarify existing problems and priorities. Ongoing support includes agreed changes and evaluation over time. A review by itself should not be confused with implementing every task identified.

Use SEO to assess existing and new content

Improving an existing page may be more useful than immediately creating another. SEO starts by reviewing the answer already available. Web design may need clearer structure and Branding more precise service language. Google Ads may indicate that an offer needs a different entry point. For SEO, these observations support a reasoned decision to extend, reorganise or create a distinct page. More text is not automatically more helpful. SEO should explain which information is missing and why it belongs in a particular place. That keeps the site manageable for visitors as topics grow, rather than leaving several pages competing to explain the same task.

SEO for questions and comparisons

A visitor may first seek information and later compare providers. SEO can consider both situations through appropriate content. Web design organises the information, while Social media can focus attention on one aspect. Branding helps people recognise the same service across formats. For SEO, we distinguish a basic explanation from material mainly concerned with scope or cost. The answers should be consistent and connect where useful. SEO does not require every page to repeat one question list. The content should support an actual decision and make clear which questions are answered here and which need another page or a conversation with the business.

Plan SEO alongside other website work

SEO is easier to organise when other changes are known. New offers, updated contact details and campaigns can create additional questions. Social media and Google Ads still need working destinations. Web design must accommodate new information without making navigation confusing. We discuss foreseeable changes and how SEO fits them. Not every idea needs immediate implementation. SEO can also provide a sensible order for tasks, identifying what needs attention now and what can wait until suitable information, responsibilities and resources exist. This helps the business judge priorities without treating every possible extension as equally urgent or adding content merely to increase the site’s size.

What do you need to start with SEO?

For an initial SEO conversation, we need your website address and a description of the services you want people to find. Name relevant places or your actual service area if your offer is regional. Existing reports and previous work help explain the situation; account passwords should not be written into an open brief. Any access required for commissioned work is established separately. Mention planned website changes early as well. This allows content, technical tasks and local information to be prioritised around your business and resources, rather than treating every possible optimisation as equally urgent or assuming that every available metric describes a useful business outcome.

What should you consider when choosing SEO support?

An SEO proposal should name specific checks, content and responsibilities. Ask what data is available, how work is documented and which changes are actually implemented. Ranking promises do not replace an understandable plan. Local profile management also needs separately agreed scope and access.

How do we review the quality of the work?

Technical foundations and internal connections

SEO needs content that is accessible and sensibly structured. Within the agreed review, we consider headings, metadata, internal links and planned page addresses. Existing URLs and necessary redirects belong in the planning of a relaunch. Technical tasks are prioritised and coordinated with implementation so it remains clear what needs changing and how it relates to the website.

Local visibility using real business information

Consistent name, address, phone and opening hours matter for local offers. Our website uses LUMA Digital’s actual business details at Breiter Weg 229 in Magdeburg. Work on a Google Business Profile is agreed separately. Profile access, integration or a Maps position is therefore not an automatic promise included in a general website SEO project.

Answers for people and machine systems

Clear questions, direct answers, useful lists and traceable sources can make information easier to interpret. We consider these structures for answer-oriented and AI-assisted search experiences too. GEO and AEO do not replace helpful content. A mention in an AI answer cannot be guaranteed, just as a particular organic position in a search engine cannot be guaranteed.

Evaluate and choose useful next steps

We agree on which queries, pages and contact actions can be evaluated using available data. Reports should explain completed work and remaining questions. SEO support starts at €299 net per month, with the actual scope determined by the package. Individual technical tasks or further content can be agreed separately when your situation calls for them.

Why choose LUMA Digital for SEO?

We connect content work with the question of where a website leads its visitors. A page should explain an offer rather than merely contain a keyword. LUMA Digital can plan technical website work and SEO together. Actual results are assessed using available data instead of a promised search position.

What is the benefit for your business?

A practical benefit is understandable structure, focused content work and documented priorities. Your business can assess completed tasks and remaining questions more clearly. That supports future decisions without assuming a particular search position.

How do we document our SEO work?

Documentation is part of the work, not an afterthought. For SEO, we record decisions, checks and sources so you can see what was agreed, what was reviewed and which references support a recommendation — without turning every criterion into a guarantee.

SEO: our review method

SEO work stays accountable when findings, tasks and checks are documented separately — and not mixed with a later ranking change.

  • Keep findings, tasks and subsequent checks separate.
  • Consider access, search questions, content and internal relationships.
  • For each change: document the page and the intended adjustment.
  • A technical check and a later ranking change are different kinds of evidence.

Readable information across formats

Published accessibility criteria help us discuss contrast and text resizing as concrete references. They are standards, not measured results or a certification of this website.

  • Contrast: at least 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text; exceptions include logotypes.
  • Text resizing to 200% without losing content or function, with the stated exceptions.
  • W3C WAI: Resize Text — reference criterion, not a claim that every project has passed.

Provide sufficient contrast between text and its background.

Before our first conversation

Questions about SEO.

Does SEO guarantee a particular Google position?

No. A fixed ranking or number of enquiries cannot be guaranteed. We agree on specific work and assess available data. Competition, demand, content and other factors can influence how visibility develops.

Are GEO and AEO part of content work?

Answer-oriented content can be part of the agreed SEO scope. This includes clear questions, direct answers and understandable structure. We establish in advance which pages need work and what additional actions are required. A mention by an AI service is not promised.

Is Google Maps automatically included?

No. Consistent local business information on the website and management of a Google Business Profile are different tasks. Scope and access for profile work are agreed separately. The pricing page describes SEO packages, while your proposal defines the actual work commissioned.
